How the theory of Continental Drift Relates to the world
This theory relates to the world because it's the world's work! This also relates to the world because it's about the continents we live on today. The continents of the world are where they are today because of Continental Drift. Without Plate Tectonics and Sea Floor Spreading, I guess the land would still be Pangaea and the ocean would be Panthalassa. (Now that would be pretty weird, huh?) Just picture a world without South America, Antarctica, Australia, Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa. Another reason the theory relates to the world is because of the plate boundaries. Without the plate boundaries, we wouldn't have the mountains, volcanoes, and islands we have today. We wouldn't have Hawaii because of plate boundaries. It also relates to this theory because it is past history of the world's development. Continental Drift is the past history of the world's development because the continents started out as Pangaea and drifted into there places of where they are today. Hopefully you see that the world and continental drift are like brother and sister. :)
This is a modern day movie that was based on Continental Drift
